	Alexandra Palace already hosts London’s largest antiques, collectors, 20th century and art deco fair, four times a year. Nelson Events, the organisers, are proud to announce the creation of a new ‘fair within a fair’ feature, in partnership with the Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association (PBFA) - The Alexandra Palace Book Fair. From Sunday, May 1st, 2011, circa forty book, map and print specialists, all members of the PBFA, will participate in their own dedicated and branded area, within the main fair. Peter Barrows, Chairman of Nelson Events Ltd, commented “We are proud to be working with the Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association. Recently, we have been receiving more requests from visitors to present a larger collection of print specialists and our relationship with the PBFA will ensure that these needs are met”. “The Alexandra Palace Antiques, Collectors, 20th Century and Art Deco Fair is London’s premier event and we are delighted to be able participate.” stated George Newlands, PBFA Chairman. He continued “The volume of visitors and unique demographics of this fair not only increases the exposure of our organisation, but also improves the commercial opportunities to the PBFA, its members and Nelson Events.” Open to the public between 9.30am - 4.30pm, with priority trade access from 8.00am, Alexandra Palace Antiques, Collectors, 20th Century and Art Deco Fair regularly attracts close to 5,000 visitors from around the world.

From their first fair in April 2008, they have been steadily rebuilding this event to similar proportions of its heyday, several years ago. 2010 saw the launch of the Warwickshire Antiques, Collectables, 20th Century and Art Deco Fair, at the WEC, Leamington Spa. 2011 sees the launch of new fairs at Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool, and Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucestershire, as well as a joint venture with the Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association at Alexandra Palace, adding circa 40 specialist books, maps and printed material dealers to the venue, via a 'fair in a fair' format.
