---END--- Notes to Editors: About Nelson Events LtdStarting in 1999 with the Gresham's Antiques & Art Fair in Holt, Norfolk, Nelson Events Ltd has grown to become one of the major antiques, collectables, 20th century and art deco fair organisers in the UK.
In 2004, Nelson Events took over the management of the Newmarket Antiques, Collectables & 20th Century Fair at Newmarket Racecourse, Rowley Mile. This has now been built up to one of the largest events in the Suffolk/Cambridge region, being regularly oversubscribed by eager dealers. In 2007 Nelson Events were asked to restart one of the UK's premier antiques & collectables event at Alexandra Palace, North London. From their first fair in April 2008, they have been steadily rebuilding this event to similar proportions of its heyday, several years ago. 2010 saw the launch of the Warwickshire Antiques, Collectables, 20th Century and Art Deco Fair, at the WEC, Leamington Spa. 2011 sees the launch of new fairs at Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool, and Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucestershire, as well as a joint venture with the Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association at Alexandra Palace, adding circa 40 specialist books, maps and printed material dealers to the venue, via a 'fair in a fair' format. About The Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association The Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association (PBFA) has been organising quality book fairs for nearly forty years. From the first PBFA fair in London in 1972, to our current annual programme of 100 fairs around the country, we offer an unparalleled range of events to suit every taste and pocket. Our fairs range from celebrated international events to small local gatherings, and include specialist themed fairs and prestigious premier fairs. From the north of Scotland to the south-west of England and all points in between, you will find a PBFA fair. For collectors and the wider public, the PBFA offers the reassurance of buying from members of a highly respected trade association whose members are governed by a rigorous code of conduct. The PBFA is a not-for-profit organisation whose members work co-operatively to sell quality books and other printed material at quality events.
